About

 
I am a self-employed graphic designer and  founder of LJ Design Studio. I am located in Washington, but work with clients all over the world. I specialize in corporate identity design, website design, and print design. In my role as a designer, I have worked with photographers on photo shoots, clients and account executives in presenting concepts, various programmers in developing websites and web applications, and creative teams to develop new product names, ad campaigns, and trade show graphics. I have a Bachelor’s degree in graphic design and advertising with an emphasis in business from BYU-Idaho. I also enjoy taking landscape photography in my spare time.

After working as a designer in-house and in several agency settings, I decided to branch out and create by own business. My seven years of design experience includes work for clients all over the world in corporate, institutional, consumer and b2b backgrounds.

I am highly organized and reliable, and possess the professionalism and dedication to meet deadlines. As a perfectionist, I won’t settle for less than excellence when designing any project and strive to effectively exceed my client’s goals and reach their target market. I love helping other businesses create and/or improve their brand. The majority of my time spent designing and implementing marketing promotions for small businesses such as logos, websites, brochures, letterhead, business cards and more. (See examples in my portfolio.) Graphic design is my passion, and I love coming up with new and creative ways to communicate with others.
 

Recent Accomplishments

• Had a website design nominated for an award.
• Had 25 ads I designed presented to the Governor and Senator in Minneapolis as part of a black tie gala event campaign for a contractors’ organization.

The internet has made it easy for clients all over the world to broaden their search for creative talent, and it makes it easy for me to work with you remotely if we don’t happen to be in the same location.
